Nadezhdin decided to crowd-fund his campaign which is another challenge. The latter should be easier than collecting signatures, but it results in organizational delays. For example, as far as I know it’s only very recently (two weeks before the deadline) when his team managed to setup call centers to call people interested in putting signatures Main electorate of Nadezhdin are those who oppose Putin and war in Ukraine (and hopefully those who got tired of the war). Those who fled Russia are not able to put signatures outside of Russia(except probably Georgia). Some of those who are still in Russia believe that elections in Russia are circus, and they don’t want to vote or do anything to help any of candidates even those claiming to be anti-Putin. He does not have sufficient support from opposition political bloggers which makes his PR campaign even more challenging (on the other hand, such support could probably make it easier to cause him troubles)
