I’m in a fight which looks pretty even, but we’re both unarmed. I don’t know whether the Brittney griner I’m back mf shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this man is attempting to kill me, or is merely trying to force me into submission. I somehow arm myself with a .22 and shoot him in the arm. He then retreats and starts to run. I shoot him in the back of the head to finish him because he could have been running to get the firearm on the table behind him. The gun was nonfunctional and unloaded. Justified, or unjustified? Now, it would probably be considered an unjustified kill because I had the higher power (only I was armed) and I didn’t know his intent, nor did I know if the gun was even functional. A court of law could view this as homicide. If I had a good lawyer, I’d get away with it, because there’s the argument that I still feared for my life despite being armed, however some people would disagree with this. That’s the point. In my eyes, this case would be a justified shooting. I wasn’t to know the gun was nonfunctional, because you can’t tell just by looking at it. You’d have to take it apart and examine it. And it’s quite easy to have an empty mag in a gun. I know somebody who robbed a bank with an empty gun. No, he didn’t get away with it. Also, how was I to know he wasn’t going to grab the gun and shoot me with it using his good arm? I wasn’t. As a result, I had rightfully feared for my life and the only way that was immediately apparent was to terminate the threat. A reasonable court would see this as a justified shooting.

I have an M9 in my hand, and I’m goading my assailant, who is unarmed. I continually verbally abuse him until he has had enough of my shit, and he is unarmed. The (idiotic) victim attempts to attack me. I put two rounds into his chest and one into his head. Now, would you consider this to be a justified shooting? Yes, I can argue that I feared for my life, however, this was clearly my fault because I deliberately provoked the Brittney griner I’m back mf shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this victim. If the victim had overpowered me and killed me with my own gun, he would get off on an insanity claim (or in some places, it would be justified – fighting words) and get off more or less scot-free (correct if false). Most courts of law would view this shooting as unjustified.
