Canada supports a quarter of the NHL with only 1/10th the population of the USA. Where else would you put an NHL team in Canada? Every Canadian city that could feasibly support a NHL franchise, has a NHL Franchise. The only cities that could have a team that don’t are Hamilton and Quebec City. Both Hamilton and Quebec City would both do well with a franchise but are stymied by A: close proximity to other NHL teams (Toronto/Buffalo for Hamilton and Montreal for Quebec City)

my personal hope would be that Quebec City gets a team back…they love their hockey there and didn’t deserve to loose the Too bad the people who really know how to run the country spen all their time riding motorcycles shirt and I will buy this Nordique. Second choice would be a long shot of Saskatoon. Those Saskatchewanians really support their teams and would be one heck of a rivalry to my Winnipeg Jets It seems fair. The NHL has been that way since the original six teams. The U.S. has the bigger market and every major Canadian city, with the exception of Quebec City, is represented in the NHL I know Canadian hockey fans want to see Quebec City get a team.
