It depends on what you do. If you work on a construction site or in a warehouse where customers don’t see you, it’s probably fine but you might be required to wear a high visibility vest regardless. If you’re a gardener, absolutely. If you’re a lifeguard, you might have a uniform but if not, go ahead and take your shirts off. If you drive trucks, it’s probably fine. If you work in an office, there is likely a dress code that includes wearing a shirt.
